Who can apply?
4th to 12th graders who
- want to obtain a systemized music education
- are considering music as a field of study in post-secondary school or pursuing music as a career
The application deadline for WIMA PREP and HUGS is September 1st
How to receive the scholarship?
You must be able to provide the following documents in order to receive the scholarship. It can be submitted to our email (wimahugs@gmail.com) after submitting the application.

- An official letter from the applicant’s school stating he/she qualifies for free or reduced lunch. OR
- A completed last year’s tax return with the applicant listed as a dependent. (W-2 is NOT an acceptable document)
- A recommendation letter from the applicant’s music teacher
